Abstract

Enhancing the reading skills of A2 level students through comic books leverages the unique blend of visual and textual elements inherent in this medium to foster language development. This study explores the effectiveness of comic books in improving reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and engagement among A2 level English learners. By integrating compelling narratives with contextual imagery, comic books provide an accessible and enjoyable learning tool that can mitigate the challenges faced by early-stage learners. The research highlights key strategies for incorporating comics into language instruction, evaluates student progress through qualitative and quantitative measures, and discusses the broader implications for language education. Results indicate that comic books can significantly enhance reading skills, making them a valuable resource for educators aiming to support A2 level students in their language acquisition journey.
