Abstract

This article discusses the importance of crop varieties in agricultural production and a brief history of the development of breeding, the original concepts of breeding and seed production, as well as a brief history of the general development of fine and medium-fiber cotton varieties. And also, we touched on the importance of crop varieties and a number of other species in agricultural production that are still relevant today.
