It is known that every person receives a very large part of the information he receives (about more than 80%) through his eyes. If we take this into account, it becomes clear how urgent a task it is to solve problems related to images [1-4].

Abstract

This article describes the characteristics of the image of the auricle. Luminance values were calculated by dividing the image into slices. We use the correlation coefficient to evaluate segments with the same characteristics.
