Abstract

Facial aesthetics is an important motivating factor for many patients seeking orthodontic treatment. An aesthetically pleasing and balanced face is one of the goals of orthodontic treatment. Understanding the soft tissues and their normal ranges allows us to formulate a treatment plan to normalize an individual's facial features.
