Abstract

The article deals with the concept of political text and its characteristics, pragmatic adaptation of source texts and pragmatic aspect of social and political text translation. It analyses the practical potential of politically correct euphemisms in source and target texts of B. Obama’s and Sh. Mirziyoyev’s public speaking.
