COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF VARIOUS MATERIALS FOR MANUFACTURING THE BASIS OF REMOVABLE DENTURES ON THE TISSUES OF THE ORAL CAVITY AND PROSTHETIC BED
Keywords:
Keywords: polyoxymethylene, polyamide, methyl methacrylate, bronchial asthmaAbstract
Relevance As is known, the tissues and organs of the oral cavity are in dynamic
equilibrium with balanced biochemical processes that preserve tissue structures and
maintain their function. In this regard, much attention is currently being paid to the
materials used for the manufacture of removable orthopedic structures that interact
with the tissues of the oral cavity, since the severity of side effects and complications
is largely due not only to the type of prosthesis, but also to the material used. The most
common structural materials in orthopedic dentistry are acrylic plastics, thermoplastics
based on polyoxymethylene and polyamide. Each of them has both positive and
negative properties, the study of which is important in orthopedic treatment.
