Annotation:  This  thesis  explores  the  critical  role  of  financing  in  the
sustainability and growth of touristic businesses. It examines various financing options
such  as  debt,  equity,  and  public-private  partnerships  (PPPs)  available  to  tourism
entrepreneurs. The paper identifies key challenges in securing finance, including the
high-risk nature of tourism, seasonality, and unfavorable credit terms. Additionally, it
discusses  the  role  of  governments  and  financial  innovations  like  crowdfunding  in
creating a supportive financing environment. The thesis highlights the importance of
tailored financial instruments for tourism businesses, particularly small and medium
enterprises  (SMEs)  and  eco-tourism  ventures,  to  enhance  economic  growth  and
competitiveness.
